These Terms & Conditions govern all purchases made from Studio Papillon. By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below.
All Studio Papillon pieces are crafted with care and made to order unless otherwise stated. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the bespoke and handcrafted nature of our jewellery, including the possibility of slight variations in form, colour, and finish.
Due to the use of natural gemstones and handmade processes, slight variations in appearance are inherent and form part of the individuality of each piece. Product images are representative and may not reflect the exact final item.
All prices are listed in the applicable currency at the time of purchase.
Full payment is required at checkout for standard orders.
For bespoke orders, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to commence production, with the remaining 50% balance due prior to shipment. Orders will not be shipped until full payment has been received.
Cancellations made within 4 hours of placing your order are eligible for a refund. A 5–8% transaction fee (depending on your chosen payment processor) will be deducted from the refund.
Cancellations made after 4 hours of placing your order are not eligible for a refund, and the order will proceed into production.
Please ensure all order details are correct before completing your purchase.
Please note that we do not accept returns or exchanges on our pieces, as all items are made to order.
If you have selected the wrong size and wish to amend your order, please contact us within 4 hours of purchase.
All Studio Papillon jewelry is shipped fully insured and requires a signature upon delivery.
If a package is not received within the estimated shipping timeframe, we require up to 30 days to investigate the case with the shipping carrier. If the package is confirmed to be lost or damaged in transit, we will either issue a refund or recreate your order at our discretion.
Please note that the recreation of an order is subject to the availability of gemstones and materials.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that someone is available to sign for the package upon delivery. Once a package has been delivered and signed for, liability transfers to the recipient and Studio Papillon is no longer responsible for any loss, theft, or damage.
International shipments are subject to taxes and duties, which the customer is responsible for. Please take note of your country's import policies before placing an order.
If duties and taxes are not paid by the customer and the package is returned to Studio Papillon, the customer will be responsible for paying the shipping costs again before the order can be resent.
If you require a repair or resizing, please contact us for assistance.
We are unable to accept items that have been repaired, resized, or otherwise modified by a third party outside of Studio Papillon.
A prepaid, fully insured FedEx shipping label will be provided. The customer is responsible for all repair or resizing fees, as well as shipping costs to and from Studio Papillon.
Bespoke and custom-made pieces are created specifically for each client based on their selected design, materials, and specifications. Due to the personalised nature of these items, all bespoke orders are final and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to commence production. The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full prior to shipment.
Production timelines typically range from 12–20 weeks, depending on design complexity and material availability. Timelines are provided as estimates only and may vary.
Once a bespoke order has been confirmed and production has begun, changes may no longer be possible. Any requested amendments after this stage will be subject to approval and may incur additional costs.
Studio Papillon retains full intellectual property rights over all bespoke designs, including any final design concepts, sketches, and completed pieces created by the brand.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that any reference images, concepts, or designs provided during the ideation process do not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party. Studio Papillon is not liable for any such infringements.
By placing a bespoke order, the client grants Studio Papillon the right to photograph and use images of the final bespoke piece for portfolio, marketing, website, and social media purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We reserve the right to adjust design details where necessary to ensure structural integrity, craftsmanship standards, or material availability, while maintaining the overall agreed design intent.
By placing a bespoke order, the client acknowledges and agrees to the custom nature of the piece and the terms outlined above.
All content on this website and all materials associated with Studio Papillon, including but not limited to designs, jewelry pieces, product images, photographs, videos, text, graphics, logos, branding, packaging, and website layout, are the exclusive property of Studio Papillon and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
No part of this website or any Studio Papillon materials may be copied, reproduced, distributed, published, displayed, transmitted, or otherwise used in any form without prior written consent from Studio Papillon.
This includes, but is not limited to, the replication of our jewelry designs, use of product imagery, or imitation of brand identity for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or imitation of Studio Papillon’s intellectual property may result in legal action.
Studio Papillon shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or purchase of our products.
Liability is strictly limited to the purchase price of the item in question.
Studio Papillon is not responsible for delays or failure to fulfil orders due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, labour shortages, customs delays, or shipping carrier issues.
By placing an order with Studio Papillon, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms outlined above.
